Email marketing still works and if you use this strategy properly you will drive highly targeted prospects to your site. There are many different types of websites where you can run your email marketing campaign. There are safelists, list builders, traffic exchanges, text ad exchanges and ezines.

I found that the most effective are list builders like Viral Url, Viral Host, List Joe, List Dot Com, Business World List and then Ezines. List builder is place where people are building a list by using viral marketing strategies, but my recommendation is to use service called solo ad. You can send email to highly targeted opportunity seekers and I made several sales from List builders.

If you do not what Ezine is, it is an electronic magazine where people subscribe in order to receive more information about specific niche. And you can rent a list in this Ezines and send your email to those people. In Ezines there are different types of ads, but I recommend using solo ad. So you can rent a list and send your offer to 2000, 10 000, 50 000 or even 500 000 targeted people. Imagine the results that you can have just from one email. Read my article 4 steps how to write effective and killer emails, in order to have a powerful email and especially headline.

But here is the catch, where to find an Ezine for my niche where I can send my offer. So here it is, you can use your best tool called Google and do a research, but it will take you a lot of time to find quality ezine or you can use site called Directory of Ezines.

Directory of Ezines is site where you can find ezines from different niches and it is pretty easy to do. By using advance search you can find highly targeted ezines for your offer. As a member of Directory if Ezines you will also receive special discounts for solo ads so your investment for DOE will return after you order about 5 solo ads with discounts. I think that this is great.

You will also have the opportunity to put your profile on marketing profile page, run a free banner advertising campaign on DOE, submit classifieds and many other bonuses.

A few days ago I read a quick report about this topic and I received very useful advices, because imagine if you at least double resource box click through rate for your article marketing. How much traffic you will get from your articles?

Article marketing is great strategy, but if people do not click on your link in your resource box you will waste so much traffic to your website. So the first thing is that you need to write an article full of value. This is the most important. But I think that second important thing is to encourage them to visit your website and opt in.

I learned this from guy named David Raybould and he is very successful with article marketing. His average resource box click through rate is 31-33%. Wow that is amazing. So I think that he knows what he is talking about.

Another tip for increasing resource box click through rate is to write strong call to action in the last paragraph of every of your article that pushes the reader toward your resource box. Something like, click the link below to find out how to generate hundreds of leads.

But I am not talking about the forum marketing. Forum marketing is a good strategy for lead generation, but I am talking about something more powerful and if you do it right you will generate a lot of highly targeted leads for your online business.

It is a place that is highly respected by many marketers, if you offer to give them some good information for free, people will jump.

I am using this lead generation strategy for my online business and it works pretty well for me. If you do it right it will works for you too. With this simple method you can increase your capture page opt in rate and it takes about 10 minutes to set up. It is always good to increase your opt in rate even if you have great conversion on your capture page. Of course you have to have a good copy on your capture page, but if you use this simple method your conversion will increase.

So what is it? If you will go on my capture page you will have to opportunity to download my lead generation report, but if someone will not opt in and they will leave my website they will get on my additional offer where they can opt in, because this offer can be more lucrative for them.

All you need to do is to put tiny little code on your website. It is called exit pop up. It means that if someone will leave your website they will be forwarded to another site with different kind of offer. You can use this for increasing opt in rate or you can use this method for special discount in order to increase your sales.

For example you are promoting product for $67 and if they will decide that it is too much for them you can forward them to site where you are offering $20 discount. Many people like discounts so it is a good strategy how to increase sales.

You can use this strategy on your capture page, thank you page and even on your blog. When I use this strategy my conversion increased and you can do it to. It takes about 10 minutes of work and your website is set up forever.

Many internet marketers are using this method and they know why. It is very powerful and for example one of the big names in internet marketing Michael Jones tested this strategy and he was able to increase his customer sign up by 325%. Not bad at all.

I highly recommend Exit Splash, and in my honest opinion, everyone that owns a website should be taking advantage of their exit traffic. The crazy thing about this is that you will generate more leads and sales from people attempting to leave your website. Imagine the potential here. Ten minutes of work and one tiny little script. When I was promoting my eBook I used several strategies and one of them was that I submitted my eBook to eBook sites. From one eBook site I have got 164 leads and it took me only about 10 minutes of work. Want to know what is this eBook site? First of all let me tell you how it works.

In my eBook I am talking about how it is important to direct your thoughts, about positive thinking, about law of success, how to choose the right home based business, what industry you should choose and this kind of thing and I also included in these chapters link to my home based business.

Because people are inspired while they read the book they click on the link and boom they are on my capture page. So from this method I generated 164 leads and it was just from one eBook site. You can do it too and it is pretty simple, all you need to do is to write an eBook. I used site called Automatic Author Program and it is a great strategy how to write books. If you will learn this simple strategy, you will know how to write any book in different kind of niches. When you have a book it is also great for personal branding.

The great thing is that your eBook can be just 10 pages report, it does not have to be 60, 70 pages book. I am sure that you can write short report about your niche, what problems people have and provide solution.  After that you will convert book to pdf format and you are ready to go.

So the biggest eBook site where I generated 164 leads for my online home based business is Free-ebooks.net. On this site there are many niches so I am sure that you will choose the right one for you. You can submit eBook for free and they are offering additional services like sending your eBook to 500,000 people which is great.

On this picture you can see that my book was downloaded 8900 times.

And that is all. This is the secret to generate 164 leads within 10 minutes of work. All you need to do is to write a short report about your niche and submit to eBook sites. This one is the biggest, this one will bring you the biggest results.  If you will use other strategies like press releases, articles, videos, email marketing you will generate much more leads for your online home based business.

And what is also excited? You can use your short report like a lead magnet on your blog and your capture page. So you are doing 2 things in one time. You will generate leads by promoting your eBook on eBook sites and you will also create a lead magnet for your business.

Do not be afraid that you will have no ideas to write short eBook. Use Automatic Author Program or any other tools which will teach you how to write eBook. Or just take your best articles and put them together and you will have at least 10 pages report about your niche. It is more simple than you think.

The main and biggest challenge that every internet marketers face is getting organize. I see that almost every beginner in internet marketing has the problem to organize and it starts with choosing the marketing strategies, because you can’t be organize if you not know what to do. You know that there are a lot of strategies out there and we want to use them all, because we want to get the biggest results.

But this is one of the biggest mistakes that you can do in your business, start to apply all these strategies and expect great results. Why is this big mistake? Because you will get results only if you are good in specific strategy. And you can’t be expert in 10 different strategies within 30-60 days.

It takes about 6 months to really master marketing strategy. In one of my previous article Discover the proven marketing strategies for online business I was talking about that. So if you did not read this article go and read it.

The next challenge is to create a step by step (day by day) plan and stick with your plan. What I mean by that? That you create at least week schedule with exact action steps and you follow your plan. One thing is to create action plan, but you have to also follow your plan in order to get some results. So you need choose few strategies that you decide master and stick with these strategies until you have good results. It takes about 3 months.

One of the biggest mistakes is to chose for example article marketing, write 8 articles and if you are not satisfied with results, you pick video marketing and you create 8 videos. After 2 weeks you are again not satisfied with your results and you jump to another strategy. Why people do that? Because they thing that this strategy is not working for them, so they will choose another one. The fact is that they just not learn how to do it properly.

So my advice is to choose 3, 4 strategies and one of them should be paid strategy, create step by step plan and stick with your plan. This is the biggest challenge that every internet marketers face, because it is very easy to be bombarded with different kind of strategies, offers and try to apply all of them.

So for example if you choose content marketing, email marketing, facebook and Google is there a need to watch trainings and read emails on for example banner advertising? The answer is no, because you will be wasting your time and what is the value that you will watch training on banners if you do not have this strategy in your portfolio?

So you choose your strategies and what you need to do is to learn about these strategies and take action. The key to success is persistence. You need to persist in order to get great results, because if you persist you will learn by action and you will get your momentum. Imagine if you write 3 articles per week. After 3 months you will have around 36 articles out there and if you follow what you learned about article marketing you can have a lot of leads for your business.

My conclusion is simple. Choose strategies, create action plan, learn this strategies and take action.

You may have heard the terms “RSS Feed”, “Pinging” and “Social Bookmarking”, and wondered exactly what it means and how this can help you with your marketing efforts. The answer is that it is very helpful if you explore what they can do for you.

I want to share with you and explain these 3 terms and how you can use them for your getting more traffic and leads.

Social Bookmarking: (sites like Digg, Delicious, Stumble Upon, Mr. Wong…)

Social bookmarking is when you bookmark your favorite sites with link, headline and keywords. You will let search engines know that you created a new content.  The reason we want to do this is easy, authoritative on-way links to your site. Let me explain this further.

Google and other search engines use the number of incoming links to your sites as a barometer of the popularity of your site or blog. They are in essence, “Votes” for your site, and get enough of these, and you will find your rankings starting to improve. The reason they are “authoritative” is that many time they have a great deal of page rank and trust rank, and Google views them as more valuable links. A good example of this would be links from Wikipedia. One way links simply means that they are linking to you, and you are not linking back to them.

You can bookmark every article that you made or every video that you created, but when it comes to bookmarking your blog posts be aware that you should bookmark around 50% of your content otherwise you will be acting spammy and you will be banned from some sites.

Pinging:

Pinging is electrical signal or notification to search engines that your content is available. You will get additional rank for your website. Pinging is very simple and it will take you only a few minutes to ping your new content. Here are some sites where you can ping your content.

http://pingates.com

You can also do additional pinging when you ping also your blog home page twice a month. Just be sure that you have some new content on your website.

RSS Feeds:

RSS Feed is digital reading of your site.

There are two main RSS categories.
·    RSS feeds where people can subscribe to your RSS
·    RSS Feed submissions

You want to get as many subscribes as possible, because every time you create a new content, they will get notification about it. This way you can get hundreds of visitors every single day. Many blogs have this option automatically, you can check if you can see a little RSS Feed button on your blog.

The second use of RSS is when you submit your RSS Feed to RSS directories. The best thing about it that you need to do this only for the first time and your blog is there almost forever. It will automatically post there your new content from your blog. Google and other search engines goes there several times a day, Google loves them and it is one of the easiest way for Google to find your content.

You can also create Super Feed and submit this Super Feed to RSS directories. Super feed is when you create RSS on your own with your best content. A cool free site that helps create this is http://www.rssmix.com.

In previous article Banner advertising: basic terminology and how it works I was explaining some basic information about banner advertising. Today I want to to share with you how to find a website where you can submit your banner and expect that you generate leads for your business.

There are many website where is possible to advertise, but you want to find a website that is relevant to your offer that you have on your capture page. You want to find audience that will be interest in your business, product or service.

How to find a quality website for your banners:

Step one: Create a list of websites to research

Go to Google and start by typing in the keywords your target market would use to search for there are of interest. Start by looking at websites and blogs you personally visit to see if there are any banner advertisements on their site. If so, add this website to your research list. If not, quickly scan the website to see how they make money. If they are running other forms of advertising add them to your research list. If not, move on.

Step two: Research websites

1.)    Alexa.com – Go to Alexa.com and type in the URL of the website you are researching. You are looking for the overall traffic rank as well as traffic rank by country, related links and keywords. In very general terms you are looking for websites with a traffic rank between 1 and 100,000. However there are exceptions to this rule: you may find a highly targeted website with a very loyal following that is well above 100,000 in traffic but still a great place to advertise. They key here is to gain a general understanding of the site, who visit it and how much traffic it receives
2.)    Examine the website –

Quality content: Does this website offer the reader valuable content or does it look like the Las Vegas strip a flood of blinking and flashing banner ads? Make sure the site has a good balance of quality content that keeps viewers around. The longer a person is on the website, the more likely they are to click on your banner ad.

Targeting: Does the website attract the type of viewers you want? Does it attract people who would be interested in what you have to offer? Most people want to make more money, so most websites will fit these criteria, but the more targeted your banner ad placement is, the better your results will be.

Place your banner advertisement:

1.)    Understanding placement: Without question you want to be “above the fold” 9the top portion of the website you see when you open it in your browser) so your intended audience will not have to scroll down the page in order to see your banner. This is important because an “impression” is counted every time the page loads. If the page loads, you will be charged regardless if someone sees your banner ad or not and most people do NOT scroll down the first page.
2.)    Start small: While you may be pressured for a long-term contract at a “special rate”, it is always advisable to start with a smaller budget for shorter time period. Explain to the site owner that you are conducting a test run and if your banner does well you will be happy to commit to a long-term relationship with the sire.

Google adwords: You can create a banner campaign within Google Adwords by selecting “site targeted campaign” when you go to create a new campaign. You can choose to set this up on either pay-per-click or CPM basis. You can use Google site targeting to also choose websites that accept banner ad campaign and then contact the site owner directly to negotiate a better deal.

CPM – Cost per thousands: This is a method of measuring how much you will pay for a banner ad. CPM means you are charged for every thousands impressions.  A $2 CPM means you pay $2.00 for every thousands impressions your banner ads receives.

CPA – Cost per action: This is a method of measuring how much you will pay for a banner ad, based on actions taking. On a action can be considered a click, or it can be considered a conversion. When you pay on CPA basis this means that you pay if someone click on you banner ad.

CTR – Click through rate: This is a ration of impressions to click. For example, if there are 1000 impressions on a website and 20 people click on the banner ad, that would be a CTR of 2%.

Cost per conversion: How much it costs you to get one lead. If you spend $50 and you received 10 leads, than your cost per conversion is $2.5. If you specified action as a click and you spend $50 and you receive 200 clicks, than your cost per click is $0.25.

Publisher: These are the websites that accept advertising on their sites.

Advertiser: The individual or company placing the banner advertisement.

Why use banner ads:
If you find a good quality website which has relevant content to your offer you will drive very targeted traffic to your website.  Banner advertising is time saving form of marketing and usually it is a low cost marketing.  Tip: us nice banners for higher conversions.

This is a great way how to control your thoughts and think about what you want rather than what you do not want.

But remember it has to be something what do you really want, it has to something what get you excited when you think about it. Put your emotions in to it and you will get in to a good vibration and then you will attract everything what you need in order to accomplish your goals and dreams.

If you read what you want many times through your day you are also creating a habit of thinking about what you want. After a few days you will recognize that it is easier for you to think about it and after you create a habit you will do this literally automatically.

It takes about 30 days to create a habit so challenge yourself that you will read what you want every day for 30 days and as many times as possible. You can also create trigger points. I mean every time you go to bathroom you will read your goals, every time you make a phone call, every time you drink a water you will read your goals. It will help you to create a habit and you will be glad you did.

So write down what do you really want on small piece of paper, read it every day for 30 days as many times as possible and after 30 days you will recognize that you changed the way you think and if you become what you think about this is a great way how to control what you think about all day.
